FEEDING GUIDELINES
CALVES
COLOSTRUM FEEDING
Feed good quality first colostrum soon after birth – follow industry best practice.
If first colostrum is not available feed ProfeSTART Colostrum Supplement.

Day 1

Add 5mL/head of BioStart Calf to first colostrum feeds to ensure colostrum curd, improve colostrum digestion and release antibodies for passive immunity transfer

Day 2 – Weaning

Add FortiMILK GOLD, SILVER or SOLUPLEX to whole milk or non-medicated calf milk replacer feeds to improve cocci control and growth rates with Bovatec and cover vitamin and mineral requirements.
Alternatively, for a non-medicated program, feed FortiMILK GREEN from Day 2 – Weaning.
