ProfeSTART Electrolyte Powder

ProfeSTART Electrolyte Powder is a Oral, non-antibiotic isotonic energy and mineral salt supplement for calves, foals, kids, crias, fawns, piglets, dogs and cats. Suitable as a first feed for brought-in or stressed calves, lambs and pigs, and as a supplement for racing animals.

FEEDING GUIDELINES

To be fed as a supplement in between normal milk/milk replacer feeds.

If the animal displays weak reflexes or refuses to drink, seek immediate veterinary advice.

All solution should be consumed within 24 hours of mixing.

 MIXING RATE

Dissolve 60g into 2L of clean drinking water (40°C).

 Note: As a supportive measure during times of stress, disease, ill-thrift and gastric upset add FortiMILK® GREEN to all electrolyte feeds.

CALVES

Offer 2L of fresh solution per head 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days or until hydration is normal.

FOALS

Offer 2L of fresh solution per head 2-3 times per day for 2-3 days or until hydration is normal.

LAMBS-KIDS-CRIAS & FAWNS

Offer 100-200mL of fresh solution per head up to 6 times per day for 2-3 days or until hydration is normal.

PIGLETS

Offer 30-40mL of fresh solution 3-4 times daily. A litter of piglets can consume 2-3L daily. Individual weaner pigs can consume 1-2L daily.

DOGS-CATS

Offer fresh solution using the following guide:

Store below 25°C (Air Conditioning) in a dry place, out of direct sunlight. Protect from air and moisture.

Keep container sealed at all times. Reseal container immediately after dispensing.

Product will absorb moisture from air (if left unsealed) which may cause crusting on the surface or hardening or powder. If this occurs, break up powder and measure out your requirements as per mixing instructions.

Crusting or hardening of powder does not affect product effectiveness.
